After my PhD in Neuroimmunology in 1997 and my post-doc research at the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital in Utrecht, I moved to Genmab in 2002. I worked at the department of Scientific Communication for 12 years. Here I gained expertise in developing infographics and corporate art work, in designing covers for scientific journals and in producing Genmab’s corporate movies and technology websites. From 2010, I further specialized in early marketing communication strategies and completed one year of MBA. In 2013, I decided to combine my scientific background, graphic skills and marketing knowledge and start my own business – SCICOMVISUALS. My office opened back in January 2014, and has since attracted interest from many different companies and institutes.
